Its been quite a while since I last issued a “bid of the month.” But, there are actually a lot of great jobs out there, as public agencies look to get an early start to next summer’s building schedule.
Seattle Public Schools is seeking bids for modernization work at McDonald Elementary School. The bid closing date is December 16, 2010. The work is estimated to cost between $7.5 million and $8 million.
The McDonald Elementary bid information can be located by following this link. A pre-bid meeting and walk-through is set for 9:00 AM on November 30, 2010. Additional walk-throughs are offered on December 2 and December 9. The school is located at 144 N.E. 54th St., Seattle, WA.
Bids must be received by 2:00 PM on 12/16 at Seattle Public Schools’ John Stanford Center, Contracting Services Section, 2445 Third Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134.
